If necessary, we can provide a prescription for you and your partner to treat the infection. You can have your tests done through the public healthcare system or directly at our private medical laboratory for faster results.

Cervical Cancer Screening
Pap test and/or HPV screening
Preventive screening for cervical cancer is essential for individuals aged 25 to 65 with a vagina. It is strongly recommended to undergo HPV (human papillomavirus) screening every 5 years, as it is now the standard for detecting this cancer. Alternatively, a Pap test can be done every 2 to 3 years.
At Lacroix, this type of appointment does not require a medical prescription. Your nurse will assess your situation and conduct the screening if necessary. We offer the option to have these tests done through the public healthcare system or directly at our clinic for fast results and personalized follow-up.
Contraception
Your nurse is authorized to prescribe certain medications within the public healthcare system, including contraceptive methods. She can help you start, adjust, or renew your contraceptive method based on your needs. After a thorough discussion, she will advise you on the different options available so you can choose the solution that best fits your lifestyle.
Cryotherapy for common and plantar warts
Warts on the hands or feet can occur at any age. Contagious and sometimes painful, they can be very bothersome. Fortunately, thanks to cryotherapy, it is possible to get rid of them effectively.
